Choose from our professionally designed courses across multiple domains. Begin with the required course, then select any two additional courses to complete your pathway.

 

Domain 1: Pedagogical Skills and Curriculum Application (PCA)

(Mandatory Course)
Focus: Mastering formative assessment and evidence-based teaching
Foundational Formative Assessment Techniques and Questioning (AfL Essentials)

Course Overview:

This course helps educators understand formative assessment as a mindset—not just a set of tools—and shows how to seamlessly use Assessment for Learning (AfL) techniques to improve teaching and learning in real time.

What does this course cover:

  • What formative assessment truly means and the learning-focused mindset behind it
  • Practical use of 3–5 low-stakes AfL techniques within a single lesson
  • How to interpret learner responses to surface hidden misconceptions
  • Using evidence from learners to adjust instruction during the lesson
  • Embedding AfL naturally into lesson planning across different education levels

Excepted Outcomes: By the end of the course, educators will confidently use formative assessment to make informed instructional decisions, respond to learners’ needs in the moment, and design lessons that continuously support deeper understanding and learning progress.

Domain 2: Inclusive Practice & Learner Wellbeing (IPLW)

Focus: Basic awareness of diverse learner needs and foundational classroom management

Course Overview:

Provides teachers with the basic knowledge to recognize signs of common learning differences (e.g., difficulties with reading, focusing, or coordination) that require professional referral.

Excepted Outcomes:

Teachers will use a simple checklist to spot 3 potential learning challenges in their class and recommend support.

2. Creating a Positive, Responsive Classroom Culture

Course Overview:

Focuses on proactive behavior management, establishing clear expectations, building rapport with students, and using positive reinforcement strategies.

Excepted Outcomes:

Teachers will revise their classroom rules and routines to focus on positive, observable behaviors.

3. Basic First-Aid for Social and Emotional Needs

Course Overview:

Equips teachers with simple, immediate support techniques (e.g., grounding, safe space creation, short check-ins) for students experiencing immediate emotional distress.

 

Excepted Outcomes:

Teachers will set up a ‘Calm Corner’ or ‘Safe Space’ in their classroom and explain its use to students.

Focus: Practical tool application and content organization

Course Overview:

Hands-on training in using digital platforms for engaging content creation and instantaneous formative assessment via quizzes.

Excepted Outcomes:

Teachers will create one professional-quality presentation and one interactive quiz game for their subject.

2. Curating and Managing Digital Learning Resources

Course Overview:

Focuses on organizing online materials, using cloud storage, and ensuring resources are accessible and tagged for future use by colleagues.

Excepted Outcomes:

Teachers will organize their digital resources using a structured folder system and share a link with a peer.

3. Creating Simple Instructional Videos for Revision

Course Overview:

Trains teachers on using mobile phones or basic screen recording software to create short (2–5 minute) revision videos or concept explanations.

Excepted Outcomes:

Teachers will script, record, and edit one simple 3-minute instructional video using a mobile device.

Domain 4: Leadership Development and Influence (LDI)

Focus: Personal effectiveness, time management, and foundational influence

Course Overview:

Strategies for effective lesson preparation, marking efficiency, and balancing classroom and administrative duties using simple time management matrices.

Excepted Outcomes:

Teachers will implement one new time-saving strategy for lesson planning or marking for one week.

2. Foundations of Effective Delegation

Course Overview:

Teaches leaders and teachers how to effectively delegate simple tasks to students or colleagues to increase efficiency and empower others.

Excepted Outcomes:

Teachers will identify 3 classroom tasks that can be delegated to student leaders (prefects, group leaders).

3. Effective Communication with Parents and Stakeholders

Course Overview:

Focuses on clear, professional, and culturally sensitive verbal and written communication strategies for engaging parents and community members.

Excepted Outcomes:

Teachers will draft professional and concise communication templates for parent meetings and progress reports.

Once confirmed, we will send you the registration form link along with access details to begin your learning journey. Complete all three required courses and fulfill the other criteria to proceed with your Associate Membership application.
