Through training, mentorship, and strategic engagement, educators can progress from initial participation to elite fellowship status, driving system-wide innovation and impact.

AFRiTEACH Growth Pathway

Level 1: Associate Member
Who: Open to all; free or low-cost, with no formal requirements.
Who can Apply:
- Anyone who joins AFRiTEACH and wishes to engage at an introductory level (e.g., PLC participation, access to basic content).
- Free or low-cost.
- No formal requirements.
Benefits:
- Early access to curated resources.
- Member-only updates and learning opportunities.
- Discounts on premium courses, events, and materials.
Advancement Pathway: Eligible to advance to Certified Member status by completing structured AFRiTEACH Academy programmes.

Level 2: Certified Member
Who can apply
- Anyone who completes a structured certification programme through AFRiTEACH Academy.
- Gains formal recognition.
- Preferred or recommended route to Fellowship.
Recognition
- Certificate of Completion (with potential CPD points).
- Digital badge.
- Inclusion in the Certified Members Directory.
Benefits
- Full access to AFRiTEACH’s advanced learning resources.
- Expanded networking and mentoring opportunities.
- Priority eligibility to apply for the AFRiTEACH Fellowship.
- Consideration for peer leadership roles within the community.

Level 3: Pan-African Fellow
Who Can Apply:
- Certified Members are preferred (non-members may also be considered).
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 5 years of demonstrable impact in education.
- Strong record of leadership and innovation.

- Seed funding and project support.
- Public recognition and international exposure.
- Access to a Pan-African changemaker network.
Selection Criteria:
- Proven track record of impact and innovation.
- Clear alignment with AFRiTEACH’s mission.

The AFRiTEACH Fellowship Curriculum
A 12-month leadership development program designed to empower educators to lead systemic transformation.
